My Favorite TV Series|Week-1

Hey guys its been a long time ,i dint even wrote a single post.Actually i was busy at some other work and i almost forgot about this blog and moreover i spent 2 weeks in watching two most addictive TV series .I think these TV series were so addictive that once you start watching it, you wont leave the screen until the end the end of the season.The Writers especially of these Series wrote its each episode so logical that it makes lots of sense.You have to watch these series from season 1 only , otherwise you wont understand what is happening in that episode.So these series are :

DEXTER(2006-2013):

8 Seasons-12 Episodes per Season
First one is Dexter, my favorite character of all time
DEXTER MORGAN-A blood spatter analyst.This series is all about a person named Dexter Morgan ,working in Miami Homicide ,who is basically a serial Killer.And in my opinion he is a good serial killer,who kills only those who deserves its or who escapes from the hands of law,being a guilty.So i think idea and writing of this series is very much thoughtful.Twists and the way he kills his victim,is very good.
It is so addictive that i also once tried to wear a clothes like his and took a picture like i was killing my victim :P.So its a must watch series but the only con in this series is its a kind of adult subject , i mostly recommend it to the adults only not for children's .Till Now Seven Seasons has been released .Last and the final Season 8 will be on 2013 ,waiting for it .

DEATH NOTE(2006) :

37 Episodes
Death Note , what should i say about this series.It is a Japanese manga series released in 2006.The story is nothing but battle between two world's greatest mind's which begins when Light Yagami ,one of the high school student finds the death Note ,A notebook with the power to kill.Initially he uses the book to kill criminals which was a good thing,but he kills all criminals at the same time, which creates a mess and another investigator called 'L',start investigating the case.Begins his journey to chase Light Yagami .So this series is also addictive one .As its a short series of 37 episodes only we can complete it 2 days :P.Its a must watch in my opinion.

Last Words :
Dexter on one hand is Adult subject and Death Note on the other hand is suitable for universal audience. These series are must watch series with a most addictive Story line, characters and screenplay .Don't forget to watch this series.

Sir William Wallace|A True Patriot

Hey guys DO YOU KNOW THE PERSON IN THE PIC ?
NO?
His Name is Sir William Wallace,who was a Scottish landowner  and who became one of the Main leaders During the wars of Scottish Independence in 13th century.
Wallace was a subject for the Academy Award winner movie  Braveheart.
I think he played an important role in bring Scotland its freedom.I am very much impressed by this person because in the Movie(Braveheart) when he was going to be hanged , at that time king asked him, what were his last words ,He just shouted "Freedom",Which made me to have Goosebumps,its really award winning movie about a person who gave all his life for the freedom of his country.

Brief History :
Wallace defeated the English army at the Battle of Stirling  Bridge,and was Gaurdian of Scotland . He was removed from Gaurdian of Scotland after his defeat in Battle of Falkirk.
In 1305 , he was captured and handed over to the Edward I of England.There he was sentenced to Death.
                               After his Death Wallace obtained a iconic status not only in his homeland but far beyond his homeland.Taking him as a inspiration ,Robert the Bruce (land lord)lead the Scotland Army on the field of Bannockburn . Invoking Wallace's memory,he inspired the army to fight with him as they did with Wallace. Their battle against English stunned them ,which made them to win freedom for Scotland.


Braveheart:

Braveheart is a 1995 historical film,which was directed by Mel Gibson.According to me Mel Gibson is Multi talented ,because not only he directed the movie he also portrayed the charater of William Wallace in the movie which was outstanding.This movie won Five Academy Awards in 68th Academy Awards,which includes Best picture and Best director.

Last Words :
Sir William Wallace , was one of the leaders during the Wars of Scottish independence.His main contributions was clearly shown in Battle of Stirling Bridge and Battle of Falkirk.He was the primary subject of book "The Acts and Deeds of Sir William Wallace,Noble of Elderslie" by Blind Harry.His was also portrayed in Academy Award winning movie Braveheart.

Subtitles For Online Videos

Hey guys i am back with another interesting Post.Today i want to tell you about a software,with which we can get subtitles for online videos.
All of us might have watched a movie online,but sometimes the language in the movies becomes so sophisticated that it becomes so difficult to capture whats going on in movie,so it just bounces over our head.
There is a solution it for either we have to download the movie and play it in certain player with .srt files but this not possible all the time.As we are busy guys so we generally don't have time to download a movie.
I no this is a common problem for those who watches lots of movies(like me) online so, i tried to get a solution for this instead download a whole movie.
So at last i got my software, which broke all barriers in understanding a movie :p.I mean It helped me not only in understanding completely a English movies but other foreign languages also.

How to Use it ??
To Use this we have to follow three steps :
1.First download the srt files from the sites like opensubtitles and subscene . My two favourite sites to download srt files.
2.Click the folder icon on the player which is at bottom left and select the downloaded srt file.
3.That's it sync the subtitles with the voice in the movies.

Last Words:
Greenfish subtitle player is the best player for playing subtitles for online videos,As it is not possible to download a movie and apply srt file to it.This is the simple method to apply srt file to online video and best way to understand the foreign language movies.

Difference|Switches and Hubs

Hey guys I am back with my new post.Today i want to discuss with you difference about the between A Switch and A HUB.
Although Physically they look similar to each other ,and do the same JOB , but practically they are different from each other.They are basically Core of the Network.
Normally, HUB's are Treated as a Dumb Device's whereas SWITCHES are having some brain power.
Initially we will discuss about HUB :

1.HUB is a splitter . It just splits the Ethernet signals to all the connected computer's.
2.In HUB's only one computer can talk with other computer at a time.

How it works :

Figure shown, is a hub,having Four ports.
Suppose computer at port 1 want to communicate with port 4, then what will hub do ??

In that case HUB, the Ethernet data will be received not only by port 4 computer but remaining computers at port 2 and port 3 also receives the same data.
That's why it is called as Splitter.
Generally these HUBS Detects the collision of Packets inside it.
Thus it consist of a Collision Detector.

Let us consider a case ,suppose computer at port 2  want to communicate with computer at port 3,in that case initially it sees any communication is going or not.If there is no communication,then packets will go to computer at port 3.
similar data will go to the remaining computer's also. Major drawback of it is ,it takes lots of Bandwidth.

If at the same time computer at port 4 want to communicate with computer at port 1 ,at that time packets collision will take place as shown in the figure.
As it is consist of collision detector,both computers at port 2 and port 4 hear the collision,and they will provide delay in sending the packets.
let, Computer at port 2 sends after  4 msec
Computer at port 4 sends after 9 msec.
But this delay is also a problem if number of devices increases.In this a case arises when all the devices talk at the same time ,which leads to more number of collision.So therefore whole Network will wait.
Thus this creates a whole mess,with HUB's.


SWITCHES:

A switch overcomes all the problems of a HUB.
In switch 50  computers can communicate at the same time,in case of HUB it will be mess.

How it works ??
Figure shown is a Switch having four ports.
suppose in a switch , if computer at Port 1 want to communicate with computer at port 4,then computer at 1 sends the packets ,it will go to all the ports including 2 and 3.But Computers at 2 and 3 say,It is not for us ,so they do not respond to it.
In switch ,Computer 1 come to know that it is at port 1 , and after packets being sent to port 4 computer(destination) ,it sends the acknowledgement to computer 1.
Next time when it sends the data , instead of sending to other computer it will directly send to computer 4.
This is because
1.Switch learns where all the computers are.
2.It creates a Road map.

Advantage of switches over HUB are :
Many computers can communicate at the same time,which is not possible in HUB.

Switches cares about MAC address of devices , to which it is communicating.With the help of MAC addresses it is able to find the destination of devices.

Last words :
Switches are better than HUB's in my opinion.Even now if you using HUB's, then just take that device and throw it in dustbin,because it is of no worth and Buy Good quality switch  like of CISCO or VERIZON.As data transfer mainly depends on these devices,thus Using Switches will make transmission fast and less use of Bandwidth. 

Also nowadays switches are available with two configurations  those are , Managed and Unmanaged Switches.
UnManaged switches:
1.Everything is automatic.
2.We cant do any changes in the switch.

Managed switches:
We can change the configuration of switch and can make speed and Qos better .We can also  change that into VLAN's.
